1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
LooC GmbH
c/o Sven Dolz, Prenzlauer Allee 53, 10405 Berlin
E-Mail: imprint@looc.io
2. Summary
- This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools.
- Fonts, images and scripts are served exclusively from our own server — no third-party content is loaded.
- We only process personal data where technically necessary to deliver the website, or when you send it to us via the contact form or by email.
3. Hosting and delivery of the website
This website is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS), provided by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. We use the Amazon CloudFront content delivery network as well as storage and compute services in the Frankfurt am Main (eu-central-1) and Ireland (eu-west-1) regions.
When you visit the website, AWS processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested address, the referrer and information about your browser and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing our website securely and efficiently (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not analyse this data or combine it with other data sources.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with AWS (Art. 28 GDPR), including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. As AWS belongs to a US group, access from the USA cannot be completely ruled out. Amazon Web Services, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR).
4. Contact form and contact by email
When you send us a request via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, company, optionally your website, and your message) in order to handle your request and make you an offer. The details are forwarded to our mailbox as an email via AWS services (AWS Lambda in the Frankfurt region and Amazon Simple Email Service in the Ireland region) and are not stored in a database on the website. Our mailboxes are operated by Google Workspace (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) as a processor. The same applies if you contact us directly by email.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
We delete your request once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) apply.
5. Links to other services
Our website links to external services such as the Apple App Store or our customer login at cms.looc.io. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you follow such a link; their privacy policy then applies.
6. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) exclusively, indicated by the lock icon in your browser's address bar.
7. Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable law, you have the right at any time to
- access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
To exercise these rights, simply contact imprint@looc.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
8. Changes
We update this privacy policy whenever our website or the legal requirements change. The version published here always applies.
